Large Format Metal Additive Manufacturing Resulting in Easily Qualified Components

We have stable, predictable, and affordable additive manufacturing processes. Our manufacturing facilities are located in Port St. Lucie, FL, where we have two large format (8ft. x 8ft. and larger if required) manufacturing cells capable of producing 64,000 pounds of deposited metal per year. We have developed a real-time closed-loop controlled manufacturing process that allows us to optimize and control the operating parameters, enabling (i) microstructure and quality control, (ii) very high level process capabilities, and (iii) automation to minimize operational influence. The result is a very stable and predictable process that yields excellent metallurgical properties. Many of the key alloy systems for aerospace application have been thoroughly characterized, including certification by Military and Defense Standards (MMPDS).

We can rapidly ramp capacity and quickly deploy capacity anywhere. The real-time closed control system is the key to our success. Customers consider our mobile, rapidly deployable, and containerized capability to be an innovative solution for “in-the-field” production. The engineering or CAD portions of the process can be done digitally at the customers base operation while the processing equipment can be deployed at the place of need.
